Potassium
- Potassium plays an undeniably important role in crops. Potassium also plays a role in regulating the opening and closing of stomata. It is a significant osmotic and an important factor in the formation of sugars.
- The potassium contained in element® fertilisers helps to cover the needs of plants at critical developmental stages when the K uptake is lower than the K needed.
Most sensitive are:
- fruit trees,
- vegetables,
- potatoes,
- cereals,
- sugar beet.
The following exhibit moderate sensitivity:
- oilseeds,
- legumes.
